Mazira

Mazira, an 8-year-old student at Moyo Girls Primary School in Uganda, has shown notable improvement in her academics this term, thanks to the support from Microfinancing Partners in Africa. Despite the challenges of living with her elderly, sickly grandmother, Bridget can now read and write and actively participates in class. The scholarship has not only ensured timely payment of her school fees, alleviating interruptions in her studies, but has also boosted her self-worth, peace, and joy. Additionally, she has received a literacy textbook and maintains a close relationship with her mentor, who supports her academic progress weekly.
