MPA’s new Scholarship Fund helps students in poverty access and complete education; breaking the chain of intergenerational poverty. MPA partners are involved in the education; they select the students based on need, and they incorporate microfinancing skills into each student’s education plan.
Because MPA empowers our partner organizations to manage the scholarship process, they and the students are the true agents of change and the heroes of this story. Please join us in building the MPA Scholarship Fund. MPA will pool your donations together to send students to school for all their years of education. Even so, It doesn’t take much to have a huge impact.
In East Africa, the average annual cost of primary school is $300, and that of secondary school is $600-$1000 for tuition, room, board, fees, and uniforms. It is humbling to think that such a relatively small amount, can make such a life-changing difference.
Here is where we need YOUR help!
From July 1 until August 31, generous donors will match your contributions for MPA’s Scholarships program up to $50,000.
